SEL ~ Social Emotional Learning

The new Social Emotional Learning (SEL) program we are using teaches students the importance of treating others with respect and empathy. Homeroom teachers facilitate an engaging lesson in which students learn how to apply positive strategies when interacting with others in their own lives on a daily basis.

​Genius Hour

Genius Hour is an exciting new concept that inspires students to explore their own passions and encourages creativity in the classroom.  It provides students a choice in what they learn during a 40-minute library time. This research driven activity gives students a motivation and drive to work on new ideas and master new skills.
